So we hustle, overachieve, and self-sacrifice in the name of fitting into society's narrow view of who we should be. We focus on our to-do lists, attempting to prove that we’re enough, but in turn, we’re taken out of the present moment and kept stuck in our anxieties.

So many of us push away the different parts of ourselves when we feel shame, guilt, or jealousy and because of these emotions don’t feel safe.

 

But when you learn to let the shadow, the messiness, the shame, the beauty, the rage, the love, the pain to coexist… oooh child, things get a WHOLE lot easier. ⁠

When we get curious and start becoming friends with these shadow parts of ourselves – and learn that all of our parts of us are okay – we start to experience more freedom, we prioritize ourselves, and we begin to recognize the value and the worth that we hold.

This is why my work centers around supporting women to connect deeper with themselves, learn how to face those difficult parts, and take care of their emotions with more confidence.
